Job Description

Water Treatment Services Technician We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Services Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair chemical feed equipment at customer facilities such as cooling towers, factories, and manufacturing plants. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals, and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities
  • Service existing accounts, secure orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules.
  • Perform water testing, chemical analysis, and system inspections.
  • Calibrate, repair, and maintain chemical feed equipment.
  • Promote and sell maintenance services to new and existing customers.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, appointment setting, and territory development.
  • Schedule and complete service/sales calls with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Identify customer needs and implement tailored water treatment solutions.
  • Provide professional, hands-on service while ensuring customer satisfaction.
 Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of proven sales experience with a successful track record.
  • Experience in water treatment, water hygiene, environmental health & safety, or disinfection is preferred but not required.
  • Must have strong knowledge of water chemistry and a solid mechanical understanding of cooling towers and air handling systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to service HVAC, cooling towers, or boiler equipment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to work with teams across multiple locations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including:
    • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
    • Climbing/descending ladders (10–30 ft.) while maintaining OSHA safety standards.
    • Working in environments with chemicals, noise, extreme temperatures, and inclement weather.
  • Must be able to wear protective equipment (gloves, face/ear protection).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (DMV check required).
  • Flexible schedule, including occasional weekend work based on service needs.
