Vehicle Integration Program Manager
About The Role
We have set the goal to provide our customers with a high-quality product, while also delivering the highest level of safety while using our fully autonomous vehicles. You will work with a team of world-class engineers with diverse backgrounds in areas such as robotics, controls, and vehicle engineering, to develop the specific attribute deliverables. You’ll support the attribute manager by taking ownership of the vehicle attribute status, development plans and working with the attribute, program, vehicle system and fleet management teams, you will be an integral link to successfully developing and delivering a high quality product to market.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Safety attribute team with the program management activities.
- Manage agenda and keep meeting minutes for safety attribute meetings.
- Manage agenda and keep meeting minutes for cross functional project meetings. Invite stakeholders and follow up on deliverables per agreed action items.
- Support preparation of status reviews / reports on a periodic basis to identify issues and document overall attribute status against the agreed upon targets.
- Own and maintain the Safety Hardware Plan. Collate hardware requests and track usage for subsystem, sled and full vehicle testing.
- Coordinate the supply logistics of vehicles and hardware for all safety attribute tests at Zoox and external test facilities.
- Own tracking of issue status for the attribute and drive activities for root cause analyses as well as robust issue resolution, and escalate critical issues as appropriate.
- Creating and maintaining the attribute’s development and validation plans aligned with high level program milestones, identifying needed resources and key deliverables.
- Support attribute team with budget forecast and control.
- Support Test & Validation Engineers with test data management.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree with at least 2-5 years hands on experience in automotive development.
- Excellent communications and collaboration skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience with requirements management software (Jira) preferred.
- Experience in Smartsheet, MS-Project.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with 3D design and PLM tools, CATIA 3DX or CATIA V5 preferred.
- Experience with Python and Matlab is beneficial.
