Job Description
Software Engineer 3 (Data Engineer & BI)Must-Have Skills
- Data Engineering & Cloud: Minimum 5+ years (onsite) or 2+ years (offshore) of experience in modern data engineering, data warehousing, and data lake technologies on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, and Databricks (with Azure strongly preferred).
- SQL & Data Modeling: Minimum 12+ years (onsite) or 5+ years (offshore) of proven expertise in SQL, schema design, and dimensional data modeling.
- Data Warehousing: Solid knowledge of data warehouse best practices, development standards, and methodologies.
- ETL/ELT Tools & Platforms: Experience with tools such as ADF, Informatica, Talend, and data warehousing technologies like Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, and Google BigQuery.
- Big Data & Programming: Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, PySpark, and Spark SQL.
- Soft Skills: Independent self-learner with a proactive, results-driven mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- BI/Reporting:
- At least 2+ years of experience with Power BI.
- At least 5+ years of experience with reporting/visualization tools such as Tableau, OBIEE, etc.
- Knowledge of Azure Event Hub, IoT Hub, Stream Analytics, Azure Analysis Services, and Cosmos DB.
- Experience with SAP ECC, S/4, and HANA.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD deployments, and cloud migration methodologies/processes.
- Duration: Through end of year, with strong likelihood of extension.
- Remote/On-Site: Fully remote—no on-site presence required.
