Job Description

Responsibilities:

The inspection of all SMT products produced in manufacturing
Works with limited supervision
May assist in training support of other areas as needed

Activities:

Inspector's duties include SMT in-process on electronic and mechanical components related to PCB assembly by using AOI machine and visual inspection using magnifying lens, microscope, and basic measurement and inspection tools
Inspect all boards completed through production processes against Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI), Bill of Material (BOM), and workmanship standards
Basic computer skills to read/record inspection data and information

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SMT Quality Assurance Control/Inspection process (PCBA and Electro-Mechanical Components)
Experience using micrometers (DMM), microscope, and optical test equipment
Knowledge of PCI-610 Criteria
AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) experience is a plus
