Job Description

Responsibility: Under general supervision, responsible for the production planning, dispatching, and statusing of production word orders

 

Activities:

  1. Reviews unreleased work order report and planning report by planner code and part number with respect to work order due dates and product availability
  2. Schedules, dispatches, and expedites manufacturing and expedites purchasing to ensure work order due dates are met
  3. Coordinates priorities for manufacturing by managing work order due dates and exceptions
  4. Coordinates first article approval
  5. Answers and responds to customer service requests for expedites and statuses for all accounts
  6. Word processing, spreadsheets, graphs and reports, files documentation
  7. Other activities as conditions require

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma
  2. Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  3. Good skill with basic arithmetic and MRP 
  4. Minimum of three years experience in production planning, scheduling, expediting or control in Electric Contract Manufacturing
  5. Dependable, high energy level, and self motivated
  6. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  7. Basic PC skills in the use of an MRP System, EXCEL, and WORD
