Job Description
We are seeking to add an experienced team member who is demonstrated excellence and consistency in conducting transit and medical device sterile barrier testing. The key team member contributes as key liaison to for client support, while developing in depth experience in order to provide training and assessment for all Associate, and Test Engineers, as well as handling special projects. They will continue to develop a higher understanding and learning for more complex testing request.
Job Responsibilities:
- Primarily support Test Engineers in conducting package testing for clients
- Experience with conducting more complex client testing requiring a further understanding of testing standards defined by ISTA and ASTM standards, customer requirements and Quality Management System.
- Interpret data to recognize and identify deviations, provide client insight, and data interpretation for Tier One Clients or client present testing. Provide recommendations to customers on ways they can improve their packaging where there are failures during testing.
- Subject matter expert for Transit Testing and MedLab Testing. This involves supporting productions floor for engineer and technicians
- Designated trainer and coach. Provides practical training to support proficiency development utilizing their knowledge of ASTM, ISTA standards, customer protocols and the QMS.
- Ensure order accuracy and quality through document control, standard operating procedures and auditing
- Monitors and provides responsive customer communication regarding testing services provided. Update customer on test status, updates, results explanation and consultation for improvements and recommendations.
- Interpret protocols to designs special packaging projects and fixtures as needed to support client testing.
- Maintain 5S and various site standards and expectations.

Requirements for Eligibility
- B.S. Degree in Engineering, Packaging or Packaging emphasis, or equivalent technical education degree.
- 3-5 years of working laboratory experience in conducting product/packaging testing is preferred.
- Experience in package or product testing or related industry is required with a strong understanding of Transit and Med Lab Testing.
- Experienced with reading and interpreting documents such as protocols, industry specifications and procedures.
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and general computer literacy.
- Math skills: Advanced algebra, statistics and geometry
Pay Rate: $80k - $90k per year
