Schedule: Regular shift (Mon–Fri), 40 hrs/week
Work Setup: Onsite
Role OverviewSupport an applications lab by performing preventive/corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and calibrations on complex equipment. Partner closely with Process Development, Hardware, and Software Engineering on R&D builds, customer demos/commits, and prototype installs. This role may include elements of field and direct customer support.

Role OverviewSupport an applications lab by performing preventive/corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and calibrations on complex equipment. Partner closely with Process Development, Hardware, and Software Engineering on R&D builds, customer demos/commits, and prototype installs. This role may include elements of field and direct customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and calibrations on lab equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic, fluidic, and vacuum systems.
- Install and support prototype equipment; develop procedures and documentation where none exist.
- Work safely with hazardous gases and liquids using required PPE, which may include APR (Air Purifying Respirator) and/or SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus).
- Collaborate with Process Development, Hardware, and Software Engineering on R&D activities and customer demonstrations.
- Provide clear, proactive communication to align priorities across dynamic and routine tasks.
- Train Field Service Engineers, Engineering Technicians, and/or Process Engineers as needed.
- Travel domestically and internationally to customer sites when issues require onsite support.
- Hands-on experience in an R&D/cleanroom environment performing maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and calibrations.
- Proficient with hand tools and electronic test equipment for maintenance, repair, and assembly.
- Comfortable wearing cleanroom attire and required PPE/respiratory protection.
- Strong troubleshooting of electrical/electro-mechanical, fluidic, and vacuum systems.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and priority management.
- Semiconductor industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 2+ years of related experience; or
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent military training and 4+ years of relevant experience; or
- Equivalent work experience.
