CNC Fabrication Technician
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Job Summary
A client of Ryzen Solutions is seeking a talented and experienced CNC Fabrication Technician to join their precision sheet metal team. This role is crucial for manufacturing parts for innovative electronic signage solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for precision and be skilled in operating a range of CNC machinery to produce high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities
Fabrication and Operation: Interpret detailed blueprints and engineering drawings to operate a variety of CNC machinery, including press brakes, punch presses, laser cutters, shears, and hardware insertion equipment.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all fabricated components meet strict dimensional and cosmetic standards. This involves using precision measurement tools like calipers and micrometers for in-process inspections.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes.
Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe workspace and perform basic machine maintenance.
Requirements
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in precision sheet metal fabrication.
Technical Skills:
Proficient at reading mechanical drawings and work orders.
In-depth knowledge of various metals (aluminum, mild steel) and fabrication methods.
Solid experience with hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment.
Basic computer skills for tracking production and machine interaction.
Experience with machine file software and tooling setup is a plus.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Compensation: The pay for this role is between $18 and $28 per hour.
