IT Manager
Position Overview:We are seeking a forward-thinking IT Manager to help modernize and evolve the technology landscape of our manufacturing organization. This role will partner closely with the IT Director to drive digital transformation initiatives, including system integrations, artificial intelligence solutions, cloud infrastructure adoption, and advanced data analytics.The ideal candidate is a strategic technology leader who can bridge business operations with modern IT capabilities. This individual will help guide the organization toward a data-driven, AI-enabled future, while ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of core IT operations.This position will lead initiatives to improve enterprise systems, streamline business processes, and develop intelligent automation solutions, while also supporting infrastructure, networking, and IT operations.
Responsibilities:· Oversee IT operations including help desk services, system monitoring, and incident resolution.· Improve ticketing workflows and support processes in collaboration with internal teams and MSP partners.· Monitor system logs, security alerts, and infrastructure performance to ensure reliable operations.· Develop processes that improve IT service delivery and operational efficiency.· Manage and track IT projects, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.· Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.· Partner with the IT Director to design and execute the organization’s technology modernization initiatives and roadmap.· Identify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence, automation, and integrations to improve operational efficiency across the business.· Assist in system integrations between ERP, CRM, manufacturing systems, and other enterprise platforms.· Collaborate with department leaders to identify inefficiencies and implement technology solutions that improve business processes.· Evaluate and optimize enterprise business applications to ensure they support operational efficiency and scalability.· Support the development of advanced data analytics capabilities within the organization.· Support internal IT team with Power BI dashboards and reporting frameworks to improve decision-making.· Support the transition toward cloud-enabled infrastructure and services.· Perform other related tasks and duties as required.
Required Skills:· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).· 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, or systems administration.· Demonstrated ability to lead technology modernization initiatives.· Experience working with enterprise systems, integrations, and automation platforms.· Knowledge of AI technologies, automation platforms, or machine learning applications in business environments.· Experience implementing or managing data analytics platforms such as Power BI.· Strong understanding of network architecture, firewalls, switches, and enterprise infrastructure.· Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.· Strong documentation and process improvement skills.· Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.· Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.· Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and cloud migration experience for cloud-based infrastructure management.
