Engineering Project SpecialistPosition OverviewThe Engineering Project Specialist provides operational and logistical support to Reliability (Rel) Engineers and Technicians. This role supports one of three functional areas—Hardware Librarian, Coordinator, or Facilities—and plays a critical part in inventory management, customer support, and logistics to ensure on-time Reliability testing in a fast-paced environment.Key Qualifications
  • Experience with inventory management or logistics
  • Strong customer service and time-management skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgment
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Vendor engagement experience is a plus
Core ResponsibilitiesHardware Librarian
  • Fulfill internal part requests and properly store returned parts, including required data entry
  • Securely transport parts between buildings
  • Greet and assist internal customers; distribute and receive hardware
  • Support a wide range of inventory-related tasks
Coordinator
  • Manage inbound and outbound shipping and receiving
  • Review equipment and consumables purchase requests; verify documentation and part accuracy
  • Fulfill requests from existing inventory or coordinate purchasing support
  • Open and manage Purchase Requests (PRs)
  • Coordinate testing activities with vendors, including parts, POs, schedules, documentation, and equipment calibration
  • Communicate status updates and testing progress to key stakeholders
  • Generate and report metrics from task tracking systems
Facilities
  • Schedule and coordinate equipment moves between buildings, vendors, and off-site storage
  • Manage equipment calibration activities, including scheduling, shipping, and vendor coordination
  • Perform basic in-house calibrations as required
  • Open and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs)
