This person will work closely with the EMC Design Team and produce test plans, configure HW/SW on the systems & create scripts to manipulate HW. This person should have knowledge in all relevant standards - EN, FCC, CISPR 25, ISO 11452, etc.. This person should be capable of solely carrying out EMC tests in the internal lab and external facilities.  This will involve troubleshooting/problem-solving systems operating at frequencies from a few kHz to several GHz.

Scope:

• Configure HW & SW needed on systems for compliance tests.
• Solely set up tests, perform tests on products & identify areas of non-compliance between local test lab locations.
• Generate test reports & related documentation.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years+ of hands on experience in compliance EMC testing.
• Solid understanding and experience with EMC testing standards - CISPR 25, ISO 11452 series, ISO 7637 series, ISO 10605, IEC 61000-4 series, EN55022, EN55032, EN55024,  EN55035, FCC Part 15 Subpart B/C
• Test & troubleshooting experience in an R&D environment with a solid understanding of product delivery life cycles.
• Familiar with EMC test equipment - Spectrum analyzers, test receivers, signal generators, amplifiers, antennas.
• Able to debug EMC problems using analytical and measurement techniques along with intuitive approaches

Pluses:

• Bachelors in EE.
• Soldering, rework, load box construction, and harness assembly skills 
• Scripting/programming abilities - EMC32, Python, Matlab, TILE 
• Solid understanding of worldwide EMC standards
• Lab quality systems understanding.
• Linux or similar Unix OS experience.
