Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The CNC Programmer is responsible for consistency as well as creating programs, program document retention, operation, and quality processes in accordance with product/process specifications and quality standards. Programmers will work closely with the Machine shop to ensure the production of products outlined within each program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Level II
? Providing technical expertise and supports floor personnel with job setups and addresses programming issues
? Design and development of work holding and custom tooling to meet customer inspection specifications
? Driving continuous improvement and cost reduction opportunities in machining processes by leveraging new cutting and automation tools
COMPETENCIES
Level II
? Minimum of an Associate Degree in Technical, Manufacturing or Engineering studies, or a minimum of 3 (three) years of Programming and 5 (five) years machining experience.
? Proficient in mid-level programming including 3D, surfacing, canned cycles, dynamic, transforms and high speed
? Proficient with GD&T
? Experience machining a variety of metal alloys including aluminum, stainless steel, copper, brass. Additional experience with plastics such as teflon a plus.
? Experience in semiconductor industry and Copy Exact a plus

Payrate Range: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
