Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an applied or technical discipline (CS, math/stats, engineering, or similar) preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, MS query, array formulae, user-defined functions, etc.)
  • Advanced MS SharePoint skills (SharePoint Services, Designer, Web Parts, Site Collections, InfoPath, Forms Services, Excel Services, .Net, Search, Taxonomies, Navigation customization, Business Data Catalog, Kerberos, SQL Server and Web Services)
  • Solid track record of taking ownership of projects and adept at working independently with little supervision.
  • Programming or scripting language experience would be advantageous in this role (e.g., Perl)
  • Monitor the network management system
  • Set up new monitor probes based on provided instructions
  • Work with engineers to resolve issues and alerts
  • Troubleshoot client issues
  • Review and create documentation
  • Manage trouble tickets and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Generate periodic reports
  • Ability to create purchase orders based on instructions
