Mission of the Role: 

The Training Coordinator (Temporary) will support the Training Specialist in various training-related activities. 

Key Responsibilities:                                                                     

  • Manage user accounts on Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) System and Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS); creating, updating, and obsoleting accounts. 
  • Partner with People Operations and hiring manager to upload trainees resume and job descriptions in Agile PLM. 
  • Update training documentations and rosters on trainees’ transcripts in the LMS and Agile PLM. 
  • Coordinate in-person trainings logistics; create Events and Sessions in the LMS, communicate training availability, track group training sign-in sheets, track completions in the LMS, and add group training sign in sheet to LMS and Agile PLM when necessary. 
  • Assist with tracking training completions and drive the company to training compliance 
  • Track training material updates in the LMS and create learning assignments when needed 

Key Interfaces: 

This position is a cross functional role interacting with all employees and contingent workers requiring training at the company. 

 Experience and Qualifications (include Years of Experience, Leadership, Industry, etc.): 

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Education/Training discipline: 4 years related experience and/or training (Coordinator, Training Facilitator or similar role); or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • 4+ years with PLM systems is highly preferred - Experience with Agile PLM is a huge plus 
  • 3+ years experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) - Experience with Cornerstone LMS is highly desired 
  • 2+ years of training experience in a Medical Device or Biotech company is preferred
  • An understanding of regulatory and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements, especially pertaining to training, quality records and process control is highly desired. 
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
