Job Description


This position is responsible for prospecting new accounts, onboarding accounts and supporting marketing and sales activities on an ongoing basis. On a day to day basis, the regional sales representative will be in the field making sales calls, managing relationships with ENT offices and audiologists, and educating customers on the value of the company product with a goal to procure sales or create sales opportunities. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to:  

  • Meet and exceed sales quota set by the management team. 
  • Must have strong communication skills and ability to work with a regional team of trainers and tech support group. 
  • Develop and manage relationships with customers in the region. 
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing business and execute strategies to do so. 
  • Conduct workshops with customers and effectively sell the company to patients 
  • Define and recruit appropriate ENT practices and complete their participation in the company sales process.  
  • Understand and present detailed features of company products and services  
  • Record all calls in sales reporting tool (i.e., Sales Force reporting system). 
  • Complete all expense reports in a timely manner. 
  • Support the Company Quality Policy and Quality System. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 


  • Minimum of two (2) or more years of medical device related sales experience preferably hearing or other devices. 
  • Experience in the (early phase) start-up environment with successful sales of a product. 
  • Understanding of the hearing markets. 
  • Knowledge of, prior interaction and relationships with, thought leaders and key practitioners in the hearing space.  
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and relationships with ENT offices preferred.  
  • Demonstrated hands-on, results-oriented approach to sales and leadership with a strong emphasis on team work. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with unresolved situations, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events – flexibility is key. 

Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess the following:  

  • Strong consultative selling skills 
  • Strong technical skills 
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. 
  • Experienced communicator/presenter of technical information with a quality focus to internal as well as external partners in a large group setting. 
  • Must be well organized and possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple areas of responsibility concurrently.  
  • Must be able to plan and work independently as well as with a team. 
  • Team player/builder with a “can-do” attitude.  
  • Results and goal oriented; a true professional who can deliver on budget and on time. 
  • Ability and desire to be proactive not just reactive; a questioning mindset.

Bachelor’s Degree
