- Over all responsible and ownership of ADAS ECU, interface with SW strategy team and responsible for production release.

- Single point of contact for ADAS ECU with supplier and with members with respect to technical understanding, integrating in system and project management activity. Regular interface with supplier for Technical as well project management activities for successful integration/release into the program and successful lunch.

- Responsible to understand and agree with supplier for installation and bracket requirement.

- Work with mechanical team to define the installation requirement (position and bracket) based on supplier recommendation.

- Work with supplier to agree on low level data interface for diagnostic and over the air SW update.

- Work with UI/UX team for over the air update strategy of ECU.

- Review and approve DVP&R with supplier

- Review environmental and EMI/EMC test data anomaly

- Support in-vehicle mounting or component performance testing (thermal, vibration etc.)

- Support durability testing of component + bracket

- Working closely with manufacturing team to define and install end of line testing process including end of line programming.

- Work closely with Diagnostic team to define ECU diagnostic interface (diagnostic tool)

- Define installation guideline for manufacturing.

- Review and sign-off installation of component/bracket and wiring harness routing

- Define aftermarket installation process for changing ECU in the vehicle

- Define after-market ECU programing

- Work with supplier for root cause analysis of failure for early prototype and production module

- Working with PLM team for BOM structuring and part number release in system.

- Working with wiring harness team to define electrical interface including connector

- Support development ECU (with calibration interface) calibration tool setup and installation of the same in test vehicle (new bracket, mounting etc.) along with other accessory like data logger etc.

- Support homologation and certification process

- Support technology scouting of next gen ADAS chipsets and bench marking of ADAS ECUs

- Support L4 sensor fusion and computing module definition






- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited University.

- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering with specialty autonomous driving technology and/or power electronics is a plus.

- Good working knowledge of automotive ECU HW development and release of same in mass production

- Experience with mechanical packaging of components

- Good working knowledge in design verification & validation, test planning and test execution

- Hands-on experience in test execution on test bench, HIL or in vehicle

- Experience with data acquisition and logging systems

- Experience with automotive communication protocol such as CAN, LIN

- Experience with working with CAN analysis tools such as Vector CANanlyzer, Kvsaer

- Experience with electrical wiring and integration

- Good understanding of ADAS/Autonomous driving technologies is a plus

- Experience with hardware-in-loop systems for verification of ADAS features is a plus

- Knowledge of automotive ADAS safety standards such as NCAP, ISO for ADAS/AD and ISO26262 is a plus

- Experience working with global teams is a plus

- Experience with validation of ADAS features such as AEB, ACC etc. is a plus

- Working experience with automotive systems design, packaging and assembly requirements is a plus

- 5+ years of working experience in design, verification and validation of automotive ECU

- In-plant and/or program/vehicle launch experience
