Technical Writer / OMS developer

 Job tasks, authority

  • Create assembly and test directions (OMS) to support NPI and train production personnel.
  • Work cooperatively with engineers and others for engineering documentation using SolidWorks CAD software, AutoCAD & PDM Link, Microsoft Work and Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering materials specifications to be used in the preparation of drawings.
  • Supported drafting for a variety for mechanical projects, ranging from ECO’s to drawings of existing equipment.
  • Documented assembly and integration processes of variety of modules for SOE (Sequence Of Events), BOM (Bills Of Materials) and generated 3D-Models to create OMS (Operation Method Sheet).
  • Working independently with little supervisory guidance; able to meet commitments and targets
  • Participate in improvement activities of ECO/OMS process improvement
  • Other project as assigned ·

 Job requirements

Technical knowledge, skills and abilities

Education and further training, technical expertise, language skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or management science (IE /BA/SCM or similar)
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Proficient in SAP Modules and related reporting
  • Solid Works , AutoCAD, CAD SW
  • Good understanding of dimensioning and tolerance & GD&T
  • Advanced written/language skills suitable for a business environment

Work experience

  • At Least 3-5 years direct experience as Technical writer or Similar Role
  • At least 5 Years of work experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing Environment
  • Familiarity with BOM, Configuration Management, Copy Exact (CE!), SAP ECO Modules , MM modules
  • Proficiency in managing technical and organizational assignments
  • Ability to communicate and possess interpersonal skills required to lead effectively with engineering and inter-department teams
  • Over all 8- 10 years of Manufacturing environment Experience
