FPGA Engineer

We are seeking an experienced FPGA developer to join our EE team. This is a hands-on position, and the primary responsibility will be FPGA design for our next generation LiDAR product. 
If you are passionate about sensor technologies in autonomous driving, and you have a solid engineering background along with experience in FPGA design, you could be a good fit for this position. 
The Engineer responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following key areas:  
Baseline Skills: 

  • BS, MS or PhD in EE, CS or related technical field.  
  • 5+ year of experiences in Verilog RTL coding and FPGA design.  
  • Proficiency with FPGA design tools chain from Xilinx or Altera.  
  • Proficiency in test bench development and simulation.  
  • Proficiency in C/C++, SystemVerilog and System C.  
  • Familiar with ARM CPU and Bus Fabric architecture.  
  • Familiar with IP core solutions of internal processing blocks and high speed I/O.  
  • Familiar with Linux environment and scripting languages.  
  • Familiar with lab equipment for FPGA bring-up, bench test, debugging and validation.  
  • Familiar with Bug tracking process.  
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Must have good documentation skills.  
  • Must be a team player in a fast-paced start-up environment. 

Optional Skills  

  • Experience with SoC/ASIC design flow is a plus.  
  • Experience with Algorithms development is a plus.  
  • Experience with HLS (High level Synthesis) is a plus.  
  • Experience with Automotive market and product design is a plus.  
  • Experience with Digital signal processing including image and video is a plus.  
  • Experience with Embedded system hardware / firmware development is a plus.
