Overview:
As an electrical engineer, you will work across disciplines to design, build, and run
complex electromechanical systems. You’ll contribute to system designs and help realize those
designs through rapid prototyping, electromechanical assembly, and system testing. You will be
responsible to carry your design through production, working with the rest of the team to ensure
the final product meets its performance and manufacturing requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors (or further) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • In-depth knowledge of all aspects of electrical design, including systems architecture design, analog/digital circuit design, schematic capture, and board layout (Altium tools preferred)
  • Circuit design experience with emphasis on embedded system design, including ARM-based controllers, power management, electrical signal characterization, sensor interfaces, and motor interface and control.
  • Understanding of low-level software (device drivers, firmware, and diagnostics)
  • Experience developing hardware through the NPI process and bringing a product to market
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in a laboratory environment, including board bring-up, debug, and validation
  • Capable of self-managing, excellent communication, and working with a multi-disciplinary group
  • Enthusiasm for prototyping and creating

Preferred/Bonus Skill sets:

  • RF design experience (802.11 WLAN, Bluetooth)
  • Power system design for low-power, battery-operated, wireless portable devices
  • Ability to write low-level test utilities using JTAG or other debug interfaces
  • Scripting experience (i.e., shell, Perl, Python, etc.)C/C++ programming experience ( comfortable working with microcontroller firmware)
  • Familiarity with Linux, bug tracking and version tracking software and processes (Jira, git)
