Required Background: 

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related field 
  • 10+ years experience with development and production of cutting-edge electrical designs 
  • 5+ years experience managing engineers and technical personnel on projects 
  • Experience developing PCBs with high-density, tight-pitch, multi-layer, BGA and 01005 components 
  • Expert in Altium PCB design tools 
  • Expert in design of analog and digital circuits and the use of simulation and automation tools 
  • Experience debugging and problem-solving hardware/software systems 
  • Proven track record of driving products to market 
  • Background in building reliable systems through project management 
  • Ability to work closely with firmware engineers, mechanical engineers, and customers 
  • Excellent communication skills – able to convey information to upper management and user groups 


  • MS in Electrical Engineering preferred 
  • Experience with Bluetooth and wireless communication 
  • Successful project management 
  • Extensive experience with design input, output, traceability, and risk analysis 
  • Background in low-power optimization and component selection 
  • Experience with audio communication systems 
  • Knowledge of EMI, EMC, and RF 
  • Experience with STM32 ARM micro-controllers 

Position Description: 

The Director of Electrical Engineering will have ownership of system design of multiple hardware prototype projects and development platforms. You will have to manage in a team environment across engineering disciplines to create new products. Your future involves adding product capabilities such as sensors, data acquisition, and communication. Your expertise can drive the next generation of wireless communication and data products. Together you will help build a robust design methodology to delivery technology to the customer, providing support and continuous improvements.
