Job Summary

If so, we encourage you to apply for the position of Digital Marketing Communications Specialist. This company is in search of a highly motivated self-starter to join their marketing team based in the heart of Silicon Valley. Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the Digital MarCom Specialist will be responsible for the development, creation, execution and management of integrated digital marketing campaigns across the ultrasound segment. The right candidate will be equipped to implement new initiatives and deliver marketing programs that support expansion and growth of the company, brand, services, and products.   

The Specialist will oversee the development and implementation of automated e-mail campaigns to support ultrasound marketing efforts; serve as lead for marketing automation efforts; manage digital campaigns to support brand and product-specific promotion efforts including paid social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter), SEO, and SEM; serve as marketing automation and CRM champion; assist with reporting functions in Salesforce/Pardot or other marketing automation tool; management of website, digital training materials and more.   

Proficiency in graphics, web advertising, social media and web development is a must, as well as a familiarity with a wide range of field practices, concepts, and procedures.   

 Essential Functions:    

  • Contribute to the overall marketing strategy and company messaging  
  • Develop and create cross-functional programs around compelling content strategy including, but not limited to, case studies, whitepapers, infographics, blog posts, and webinars   
  • Work with marketing managers to develop, test, and measure integrated marketing campaigns  
  • Design, set up, and launch A/B and multivariate email marketing and landing page experiments to increase conversion  
  • Contribute to brand strategy discussions and help guide evolution  
  • Work closely with marketing and sales managers to ensure content promotion is thorough and aligns with goals, and develop campaigns for new product launches, software updates and quarterly promotions   
  • Develop and scale account-based marketing strategy including, partnering with sales to identify key accounts and influencers and execute on campaigns that focus on high-value accounts  
  • Ensure ultrasound webpages are kept up-to-date and in line with overall company brand standards  
  • Partner with the Marketing Communications Manager to establish content strategy and maintain content calendar   
  • Collaborate with sales to ensure content is understood and leveraged throughout the funnel    
  • Collect and analyze competitive intelligence   
  • Create organic and paid social media content to enhance online presence, drive web traffic and generate quality leads  
  • Assist with the development and implementation of sales decks, company PPTs and meeting content as needed  
  • Analyze and understand the business impact driven by campaigns to establish marketing KPI’s and forecast long-term growth  
  • Drive creative asset ideation, testing road maps, and optimization  
  • Build reports and own communication with key internal stakeholders to keep the business apprised of marketing performance  
  • Set quarterly goals for content engagement and iterate to increase attraction, engagement, and conversion  
  • Ensure high-quality creative executions within employer brand guidelines  
  • Clearly communicate at a high level across all levels of the organization, which also includes setting a creative vision and getting consensus from partners  
  • Develop expertise and knowledge in assigned business areas  
  • Actively collaborate with leaders, team members and business partners to bring creative campaigns and initiatives to life  
  • BONUS: Ability to design booth graphics, brochures, flyers, e-blasts, social media posts, email graphics and internal communications when needed 

Skills and Abilities  

  • Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to own projects from end-to-end in a fast-paced environment  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills   
  • Ability to develop, write, and execute product-focused marketing programs   
  • An eye for design and attention to detail  
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills - ability to work with large data sets to derive actionable campaign insights  
  • Technical knowledge of social media and advertising platforms  
  • Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize workload and deliver assigned projects and work on time  
  • Design layout and printing process knowledge a plus  
  • Works well both independently and in team settings (on-site and virtual)  
  • Comfortable presenting information to large groups of people in a clear and concise manner  
  • Knowledge of the following programs (or similar):   
  • Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google AdWords  
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro etc.)  
  • WordPress and associated tools  
  • Salesforce  
  • Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot or similar  
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)  
  • Additional tools: Prezi, Canva, WebEx,   

Knowledge/Educational Requirements  

  • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Digital Media or equivalent experience  
  • 3-5 years’ experience running performance marketing campaigns on social media, marketing automation platforms, and other digital channels  
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills; ability to lead cross-functionally  
  • Highly creative and resourceful self-starter with the ability to work independently and a can-do attitude  
  • Ability to develop, write, and execute on content promotion programs   
  • Understanding of and experience working in the healthcare space is preferred  

Physical Demands/Work Environment  

  • Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available  
  • Up to 10% travel may be required
