Job Description

Community Manager 

What We Need 

  • Content creation – author blog posts, articles, social posts including video content, newsletters, communications materials, and material for company’s social media channels and company’s website aligned to the company brand. Grow the contribution of positive and viral user-generated content from company’s community. 
  • Social media marketing – create, manage and grow the company’s presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and partner sites. Grow company’s community of followers. 
  • Events and event planning – plan meetups for the company community 
  • Customer relations – assume responsibility for inbound and outbound communications related to customer support via e-mail and company’s social channels and managing any online feedback forums. 
  • Analytics – Leverage Google Analytics and other measurement tools to report on social metrics, and continually improve those metrics through testing and new initiatives. 


  • Demonstrated ability in growing an active and engaged community of followers for a growing brand 
  • Actively participates in a wide variety of social media activities such as blogging, community development 
    and management, etc. 
  • Owned and exclusively accountable for social campaigns from ideation to execution 
  • Experience in influencer outreach and engagement 
  • Demonstrated ability to produce community management guidelines and documentation 
  • Proficiency in social listening tools like Radian6 and Buzzlogic. 
  • High attention to detail 
  • Ability to lead with recommendations on community management and social strategy based on analytics and data 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. 


  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience managing social media platforms or communities for growing brands 
    preferably in the health and wellness, children’s technology and children’s lifestyle space 
  • Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields.
