Supplier Quality Engineer

Creates quality plans, perform supplier audits and implement closed loop corrective actions

- Plan, design and deploy quality assurance initiatives with our Quartz and Ceramic Suppliers

- Drive score card reduction to improve supplier performance by making improvements to processes within the supply base

- Conduct monthly quality reviews and support quarterly business reviews

- Lead Supplier Process audits and drive closure on actions to improve

- Act as a technical liaison between companies design engineering and the Supplier

- Ensure the supplier has robust process of record (Control Plan) in place to build companies critical parts

- Interface with suppliers for all quality, reliability, and supplier process issues

- Develop and present reports/presentations of excellent quality

- Perform failure analysis on customer reported problems

- Extremely well organized; ability to work well under pressure, manage competing demands, and meet tight deadlines

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Experiences in project management

- Experienced in driving initiatives such as LEAN, Six Sigma, 5S, and TQM

- Practical experience in Statistical Process Control, DOE and FMEA

- Knowledgeable in manufacturing processes development and control

- Broad experience across a multitude of advanced materials used in semiconductor processes is a plus

- Experienced in machining practices of brittle materials Like Quartz, Ceramics required

- Good understanding of ANSIY14.5

- Qualified candidates will have a 4 year technical degree and a minimum of 5-7 years experience as a Quality Engineer. Certified Quality Engineer certification and or a Six Sigma black belt is a plus

- BS/MS degree in a technical field listed in (but not limited to) the following: IE, ME, ChE, Chemistry, Material Science

- Up to 25% Domestic and International travel required
