Job Details:

 
Work with the Product Group Engineering organizations in development and release of metal fabricated parts to 
Coordinate and support investigation of key quality defects of components from the customers and/or field service team to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement 
Drive the improvement of the remote factory suppliers’ quality and manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, cost, and on-time-delivery
Act as liaison / technical lead for cross functional projects to include Build Verify and Production Readiness Review
Audit and document supply base performance on critical process of records and overall quality management systems
Collaborate on the continuous development of supply base through close teamwork with product management, global product group, and supplier business managers
Leads, and is personally accountable for, high profile project timelines and milestones.
Continuously working on process improvement and developing Best Known Methods
Provide technical support in Build, Test and FQA to new Remote Factory (RF) suppliers in deposition and etch product deployment and transition
Perform Standardized Supplier Quality Audits and administer Supplier Quality Scorecard for existing suppliers to promote continuous improvement.
Drive Root Cause and Corrective Action Analysis on QDRs and Escalations
 

Qualifications:

Must have

-         Creative thinking and strong problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities, including experience in the areas of mechanical and chemical engineering

-         Solid understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, mass/momentum/heat transfer

-         Solid understanding of statistical process control and basic statistical analysis used in production setting

-         Solid understanding of equipment and component manufacturing processes

-         Experience in supplier process development & quality management

-         Understanding of failure analysis and problem solving

-         Ability to learn new skills quickly with minimal guidance

-         International & domestic travelling

Preferred

-         Mechanical/fluid delivery system design

-         Systems engineering and integration and customer fab knowledge

-         Solid understanding of various problem solving methodologies to include 8-D/5 why

-         Project Management / Team Lead experience

-         At least 8 years of working in the Semiconductor Equipment Industry

-         Experience with working with global suppliers

-         Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills

-         Attentions to details
