Job Description:

The Company is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to support the development of The Company's  proprietary manufacturing equipment for fabricating the next generation of flat screen displays—organic light emitting diode (OLED) displays. The Company  has developed unique printing technology ideally suited for OLED display manufacturing and is building a top-notch team of talented, experienced engineers and managers to develop, optimize, and commercialize OLED manufacturing processes based on this technology. We are looking for a Software Engineer interested in working in a fast paced environment along-side a great team recruited from among Silicon Valley’s top companies. For this position, candidates should have a deep understanding of object oriented software development and expertise in one or more of the following areas: manufacturing automation, machine control, motion control, and instrumentation.



Responsibilities:

  • Software design, implementation, and testing for production manufacturing equipment

  • Maintain and support existing system software

  • Develop system software specifications based on requirements

  • Self-track progress and provide reports to immediate supervisor

  • Participate in project planning in coordination with immediate supervisor

  • Working with cross-functional teams to develop complex systems

  • Working at customer sites to help troubleshoot issues or improve designs

  • Being a team player, doing whatever is required to make the company successful

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in engineering with 5+ years of industry experience

  • Expertise in object oriented software development

  • Experience in manufacturing automation, machine control and/or factory automation (production systems)

  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with motion control programming is a plus but not required

  • Experience with SECS/GEM standards for equipment-to-host communications is highly desired, but not required

  • Timeline management

  • Analytical Skills, ability to work under pressure, and effective communication skills are required
