The individual will be “hands-on” working with operations to support product, process and manufacturing activities. Activities will consist, but will not be limited to digital design and fabrication utilizing 3D scanning and printing equipment as well as product prototyping, process improvements, inspection and test, writing protocols and reports. Individual must have experience designing custom eartips for commercial use as well as experience in low to high volume 3D manufacturing environments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned as necessary):
Will be responsible for the design of custom eartips and associated products though the use of 3D scanning, design and 3D printing
Establishment of process flow and production line layouts 
Perform manufacturing time and capacity studies
Design, support and Implementation of manufacturing fixtures 
Process development/statistical analysis
Perform process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ)
Write protocols and test reports 
Perform basic machining activities
Develop the organization’s core competency by selecting equipment, software and conducting training courses
Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
Hands-on individual with demonstrated experience in the design and development of custom eartips through the use of additive manufacturing
Experience utilizing 3D printing, Geomagic Studio, 3Shape and Solidworks to produce custom hearing components preferred
Ability to solve problems using structured methods. 
Attention to detail in process characterization and documentation. 
Ability to work in a team environment 
Have a firm understanding and demonstrated experience performing medical device process validations.
Firm understanding of manufacturing techniques with ability to quantify line capacities and to develop high volume manufacturing scale-ups.
Statistical Process Control, Green Belt experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to use Word and Excel. 
Good written and verbal communication skills
BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Manufacturing experience with custom products preferably RIC or CIC eartips
Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good knowledge of cGMP.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multi-task and interact well with others.
