Seeking a Process Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team of industry leading experts. 

As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will:

  • Under the direction of the Senior Director of Process Engineering, be responsible for process development – from initial development to sustained manufacturing validation - planning, directing, and coordinating engineering activities, studies and programs in support of standard production and new product development.  
  • Responsible for planning, executing and supervising process development related to: mechanical processing, forming, tool design, machining (grinding, EDM), etc. 
  • Responsible for process identification, parameter optimization, proof of concept testing, technology improvements, and process implementation.
  • Manage a team of engineers and technicians. Set priorities and timeline for development projects.
  • Mentor and provide career development support to engineers and technicians.
  • Interface and collaborate with New Product Development, Sustaining, Quality, and Equipment Engineering groups.
  • Responsible for tool and fixture design and qualification used for manufacturing medical devices and components.
  • Provide critical input for design and build of equipment required for processing. Support and provide equipment guidelines and tooling modifications for process improvements.
  • Responsible for screening and optimization of process parameters to achieve robust and stable processes and maximize yields, efficiencies and process capabilities.
  • Responsible for documentation of studies in engineering memorandums and work instructions. 
  • Responsible for training engineers, technicians and operators.
  • Identify and investigate and develop new technologies for processing.
  • Develop strategic processing goals and objectives and integrate processes into Lean value streams.
  • Responsible for team budget and capital appropriation based on sound testing and demonstrated feasibility.

How much should you know?:

  • BS degree in a relevant discipline and 12 or more years of related engineering experience.  Or:
  • MS degree and 8 or more years of related engineering experience.  Or:
  • Ph.D. and 6 or more years of related engineering experience

  • Have people management experience.
  • Have solid background in AutoCad and SolidWorks.
  • Have significant complex level engineering expertise.
  • Experience in the medical device industry.
  • Possess excellent English communication skills – both written and oral.
