Manufacturing Engineer III

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned.

o Responsible for the development of processes and process instructions by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors
o Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements
o Design and implement new manufacturing methodologies for material handling, machining, assembly, etc.
o Conduct feasibility studies of processes to determine manufacturing integrity
o Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow
o Interface daily with in-house and customer engineering teams to identify/resolve problems and implement solutions to stabilize product
o Introduce products into the production areas and follow products through the entire process
o Partner with customer engineers to review, communicate and implement engineering change orders and sustain products with cost reduction and yield improvements
o Provide guidance to technicians or others within the department
o Work independently with minimal supervision Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
o Advanced knowledge of related manufacturing operations
o Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
o Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Strong MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
o Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Desired Education, Certifications and Experience
o 5+ years manufacturing, engineering or related work experience
o B.S. or equivalent work experience, or any combination of education and experience
o Vocational or technical training
