Job Description/Responsibilities
- Provide pre-sales technical leadership and post-sales first-level applications support through calls, e-mails and on-site visits for new and existing customers in North America.
- As an integral member of the Applications team (which includes Factory Applications), drive technical issue resolution for customers worldwide through our ticketing system.
- Attend trade-shows and conferences to continue to build the network and assist the outbound marketing team in ensuring that  the line of products stay in the spotlight.
- Work closely with systems engineering to put together technical slide decks to showcase Speedcore use-cases and tailor them appropriately for different customer engagements.
- Put together reference/demo designs, other technical collateral like user guides and application notes to highlight and document Speedcore and ACE tool features for customers.
- Up to 25% travel may be required.
 
Skills:
- Background in back-end (ASIC) implementation methodology, concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with IP deliverables including, but not limited to, GDSII, LEF, lib files and CPM.
- Knowledge of SoC architectures and expertise in commonly used SerDes and memory interface protocol IPs like PCIe, Ethernet and DDR3.
- Understanding of hardware acceleration for wireless, data center, compute and AI applications.
- Solid understanding of FPGA / programmable logic architecture and design flows.
- Strong logic design and verification background with experience in STA.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, ideally in customer facing-roles, with ability to multi-task and manage projects.
- Verilog expertise; System Verilog and VHDL knowledge is a plus.
- High-level synthesis knowledge, work with embedded processors (ARM, Tensilica etc.), and experience in delivering training and webinars would be pluses.
