Drive Performance Engineer
Job Description
For our client we have set the goal to provide our customers with a premium ride experience when using our fully autonomous vehicles. You will work with a team of world-class engineers with diverse backgrounds such as robotics, control, and vehicle engineering. While leading the power train controls integration and driveability performance development in providing, based on data analysis, direction to key system, system control engineers, simulation team, and other Vehicle Integration Attribute areas to assure an excellent vehicle drive quality. What you’ll do
- Support vehicle performance and longitudinal motion controls development.
- Lead powertrain and brakes integration: Torque controls, torque distribution, regenerative braking and mechanical brakes.
- Vehicle testing and tuning : Drive quality, testing and metrics.
- Support simulation development for the correlation between simulation and test
- Develop Validation plan with key stakeholders, and execute accordingly
What you’ll need
- Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
- Experience in vehicle level powertrain integration and driveability development
- Strong analytical and testing skills
