This is a leading role in an emerging Automotive Quality organization in a rapidly growing semiconductor IC company. The successful candidate will be a seasoned Automotive Quality veteran in at least two of the following areas: Customer Quality Engineering, Quality Management Systems, Reliability Engineering, Failure Analysis, Product Engineering and Production Quality Control in Semiconductor IC industry. 

The successful candidate will help to grow the Automotive QA Organization, its functions and team competence, and company-wide Quality management processes. He/she will also represent the company quality management in managing critical customer quality situations.
Job Functions
  • 1. Lead the function and team for Automotive Quality, to improve managerial efficiency, team competence for reduced costs and risks, and increased customer satisfaction.
  • 2. Manage customer quality requirements systematically and translate them into internal initiatives and projects, and manage the process well to foster competence growth.
  • 3. Supervise CQE, QMS, PQC and Reliability team and functions to meet automotive customer requirements.
  • 4. Supervise FA and 8D reports development to well mange communications with automotive customers.
  • 5. Act as escalation point for regional CQE and other quality cases management, quality contractual supports etc.
  • 6. Analyze and internalize customer feedbacks regarding MPS quality and reliability performance against customer requirements and relative to competition.
  • 7. Identify opportunities to improve processes between Customer and MPS, such as Product Qualification, Spec & Document review, and Auditing etc.
Experience Requirements  
  • 1. Over 20 years experiences in Semiconductor IC Engineering and QA functions, with proven customer-facing skills and experiences.
  • 2. Over 10 years Automotive QA management experiences in Semiconductor IC industry.
  • 3. Expert knowledge of US and EU Automotive quality requirements.
  • 4. Expert knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing process and IC tests, and quality management tools.
  • 5. Good knowledge of IC silicon/package fail mechanisms/symptoms, Reliability and FA process and testing tools and reporting.
  • 6. Excellent influence and negotiation skills to respond to difficult news and situations.
Education Requirements Bsc EE required; Msc EE or MBA preferred
