ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned as necessary):

  • Ensure stakeholders (Executive Leadership, Department Heads, Teams, etc.) have accurate data and analysis by updating existing tools, specialized reports and dashboards
  • Develop ad-hoc, specialized data structures/abstracts to support reporting needs
  • Create actionable insights based on quantitative analysis to improve and guide strategic decision making
  • Develop data queries to enable inter-department analysis
  • Improve existing tools and support new tool development
  • Provide analytical support for cross functional projects
  • Develop analytical project plans and communicate approach to internal teams 
  • Present findings, insights, and strategic implications to internal stakeholders on an ongoing basis

 

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 
  • Understanding of relational database architecture and ability to develop queries or advanced Excel skills (i.e. Vlookup, Index/Match)
  • Computing skills including experience with MS Office and data visualization tools experience preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative/analytical or marketing field
  • A Master’s degree a plus 
  • Minimum five to ten (5-10) years’ experience in data analytics 
  • Experience with SQL database query writing a plus 
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills required 
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret in-depth analyses, uncover actionable insight and effectively communicate to the broader organization 
  • Experience with CRM and ERP applications and data mining a must.

our Commercial team is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst responsible for all data driven reporting. As a Business Intelligence Analyst you will take the lead in developing products and reporting tools as a part of the Commercial Operations team. 

The responsibilities of this crucial role is to create reporting tools, integrate reporting platforms, and generally bring life to the numbers for our teams. As the data expert, the Business Intelligence Analyst will report to the Director of Commercial Operations, and consult with executives to product owners and every department in between. This role is responsible for improving data structures, analytical tools and executing analysis in order to support cross-functional strategic and operational initiatives. This person will be considered a subject matter expert and will coach individuals throughout the company on analytical best practices. 

The ideal candidate understands how integral their role is to the success of the business as a whole and has a talent for seeing the big picture. We are looking for an experienced, strong, motivated, team-oriented individual, who is a gifted communicator with the ability to adapt their reporting for all levels of the organization
